Practising artist and teacher, Jan runs workshops and small classes.
She exhibits her paintings locally and throughout the North East.
Jan designs for fabrics and surface pattern and also currently enjoys working on digital enhancement of some of her paintings.
Throughout her life she has worked with many different materials and areas of art including ceramics, glass, photography, weaving, printing and also had commissions for large public murals.

This 24ft mural (below), depicts all the local catchment areas of a hospital in North Yorkshire.
Areas and places include Richmond Castle, Thirsk, Northallerton, Osmotherly and Roseberry Topping. The background landscapes cover more of the far reaching areas such as Teeside and the outskirts of Thirsk. |
